This salad best enjoyed fresh, but you can prep the veggies a few hours ahead and add the avocado and dressing just before serving.

Can I add other veggies or ingredients?

Absolutely! Bell peppers, fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro, or even a sprinkle of feta cheese can be great additions.

Can I use lime juice instead of lemon juice?

Yes! Lime juice works just as well and adds a slightly different tangy flavor.

PRO TIP

Keep your salad dressings in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Mason jars work perfectly. Just give your dressing a good shake or stir before using, as homemade dressings thicken slightly when chilled.

How to store leftovers of Avocado Salad

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. To minimize browning, press a layer of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the salad before sealing the container. Eat within 24 hours for the best taste and texture.
