I love to experiment with Dressings and Sauce. There are so many possible ingredient combinations that the options are endless. Using Fruits in sauces or dressing is just a great way to bring freshness to your salads. Some of my favourite dressings use citrus fruit (I love super tangy dressings!) like this Zesty Lime Salad Dressing or this Easy Greek Dressing. Why stick with basic Vinaigrette or Balsamic Dressing when you can find many other creative sauces?

While avocado and lemon are a classic combination, I like to use limes to get a slightly less sour taste. I know that some people hate cilantro (have you heard about the scientific research claiming that it’s a genetic thing?), but I love to add it to pretty much..anything! It’s strong, herby flavour works perfectly with the creaminess of the avocado and sharpness of the lime.

How to make creamy avocado and lime salad dressing:

Simply mix one avocado, cilantro, garlic, Greek yogurt, olive oil and freshly squeezed lime juice in a food processor, until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. That’s it! That’s how easy it is to give any salad that extra something that will have you eating salad every day.

Now go on! Toss that bright, beautiful salad in as much dressing as you’ll like and dig in.
