These energy balls are made from bananas and peanut butter. They’re perfect for when you’re on the go!

Ages ago, I shared a lovely, surprisingly popular recipe for Fruit-n-Nut Peanut Butter Energy Balls. Readers really loved the simplicity of the recipe, the taste, and the ease with which they’re made.
But I kept getting asked one question over and over again: can I add anything else to this recipe? So here I am, answering it loud and clear: OH YES. And you’ve got to try this one!
Why you’ll love these Peanut Butter Banana Energy Balls
Whether you call them peanut butter balls, energy balls or peanut butter energy bites, these are such a yummy new flavour, with the merging of creamy peanut butter, oats, and bananas… plus they have chocolate! (Everything is better with chocolate right?!?) These healthy snack energy balls are the perfect flavour combination of a peanut butter chocolate chip oatmeal cookie mixed with banana bread.

Not only do chocolate chips pretty much make everything better, but they also make these energy bites better. No need to melt chocolate and do a pretty drizzle, no need to do anything more elaborate than just scooping out the right amount of chocolate chips and folding them straight in.

Hey Laurie, These peanut butter banana energy bites can typically last for about 1 to 2 weeks when stored in the refrigerator. However, it's important to note that the freshness and quality of the energy bites may gradually diminish over time. To ensure they stay fresh for as long as possible, it's best to store them in an airtight container or a sealed zip-top bag in the fridge.
