This easy and delicious Turkey Meatloaf recipe is a perfect dinner option that is super easy to make ahead of time for a wonderful weeknight dinner!

Why I posted this meatloaf made from ground turkey recipe
Let’s talk about this Turkey Meatloaf people. Last weekend, hubby and I were making a meatloaf, which we do all the time, when I realized I have never put a recipe on my site for one!! I seriously didn’t believe it and searched my blog for one and NOTHING! I apologize! I think my hesitation has been that they aren’t the prettiest things to photograph and are SO easy to make – but that is the best right? Who wants pretty meatloaf anyways. When we make meatloaf it always turns out delicious! So I thought I would actually measure things this time and put together a solid recipe – which this definitely is! I love meatloaf for many reasons but the main one is that it could not be easier to make. Sometimes we make meatballs atoo and this is basically the same thing without all of that effort to form them into balls. Just plop the whole thing on a baking sheet and free form it into a loaf like shape – pour some stuff on top and bake!

Anyway, along came a day when I found my motivation to take pictures and actually type up the recipe! I hope you’re excited, because despite my procrastination, this is a DANG good recipe. Not that I’m partial, it just happens to be a fact.

Why you’ll love this Turkey Meatloaf
This recipe is so incredibly easy that you can enjoy it not only for a delicious Sunday dinner, but for any weeknight meal as well. In fact, one of my favorite tricks is to prepare the meatloaf ahead of time on what I know will be a busy evening. The night before, I’ll prepare the meatloaf but instead of sliding it into the oven, I’ll instead cover the meatloaf on the baking pan and refrigerate it’s until time to bake. At dinner time, it’s ready and waiting for my husband to put it in to bake. This shortcut has made me look like supermom on more than one occasion!

When your three kids eagerly ask for seconds each and every time this Turkey Meatloaf is on the table, you know you have a winner. This recipe is no doubt an immediate add to your kitchen playbook.
I just had to tell you the meatloaf was a hit! It was so good and easy to make. No one even knew it was turkey. When I told my husband after dinner – he thought I was joking! Thanks for sharing!

Do not make this meat loaf, 1 cup of milk was way to much, had to stick in freezer before I baked it, so sloppy mess

We did this the other night by reheating the turkey loaf and roasting a fresh batch of potatoes with all the seasonings. A quick, delicious dinner!

Awesome to hear! I find ground turkey can be substituted in meat balls as well and no one is the wiser :)
