Getting kids to eat broccoli that’s not drowned in a cheese sauce never worked for me until my husband brought home an Instant Pot Air Fryer. I also love food that I can quickly and easily make at home that tastes better than something you get in a restaurant. With Air Fryer Broccoli it feels good to know that I am feeding my family healthy food that they’ll actually eat because it tastes amazing!

Honestly, this air fryer broccoli is pretty addictive if you want to know the truth. The first time I made it I almost ate the the entire batch myself, and my husband had seconds!

  • Broccoli
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (I prefer to use the light flavour kind)
  • Sea Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper

How to cook broccoli in the air fryer

  1. Cut broccoli into small pieces.
  2. Add broccoli to large bowl and drizzle evenly with olive oil.
  3. Season broccoli with salt and pepper.
  4. Air Fry 370°F for 6 minutes, flipping and shaking 1/2 way through cooking. Or cook until crispy.

Additional seasoning options

Add any of these seasoning options to the bowl and mix it in with the oil and seasonings, coating well. Then cook as directed:

  • Garlic parmesan broccoli by simply adding 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese.
  • Italian broccoli by adding 1 teaspoon of your favourite Italian seasoning
  • Everything but the Bagel broccoli by adding 1 teaspoon of Everything but the Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joe’s

  • 2 heads broccoli (cut into bite sized pieces)

  • Fresh cracked black pepper (to taste)
