As promised in my post about Nutrition November, I’m going to try 1 new recipe each week and share it with you in a Food Friday post. Last week I didn’t get around to it, but I had a good excuse, right?

This week I tried a Broccoli Cheese Casserole recipe that I got from my “Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook” – a cook book I bought when I returned to work after my second daughter was born. The recipe was super easy, and that’s saying something ’cause I’m an awful cook…

The results:
My mom and I greatly enjoyed the casserole, Brooke (3 yo) loved it, my hubby & Sierra (my 5yo) wouldn’t even try it (healthy stuff was in it ie: broccoli). I’d eat it again (in fact I did, I ate the leftovers for lunch today), but I wont make it again just because half of my family wouldn’t even try it.

Here’s the recipe in case you have kids who actually like CHEESE & BROCCOLI:
