DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF REQUESTS TO PUBLISH EXTREMELY IRRELEVANT, POORLY RESEARCHED AND JUST PLAIN AWFUL POSTS, I NO LONGER ACCEPT GUEST POSTS.
I get many emails from people who want to know if I accept guest posts on Salads for Lunch, and if that is the case, what are the guidelines. I figured that it would be easier to write the guidelines in a post and just refer every one here.
So the answer to the first question is: YES! I do accept guest posts. Currently I just publish one guest post per week though, usually on Wednesdays. Below you will find all the details about the process.
What kind of guest post content do you accept?
I don’t accept any content.
Anything that is useful for my readers related to health, fitness, and nutrition derived from your own personal experiences, unless you are a certified fitness professional. There is no minimum length for your post, but usually the guest posts have over 500 words.
Guest Post Guidelines:
There are none, because I no longer accept Guest Posts.
Your post must be written by you.You can NOT publish the post anywhere else (i.e., on your own blog or as a guest post on other blogs). I do not allow duplicate content on Fitness Cheerleader. You must provide at least one royalty free, or personal image to enhance your post. You can include up to TWO links in your byline. These can be to a PERSONAL BLOG, PERSONAL TWITTER ACCOUNT or a PERSONAL BLOG FACEBOOK FANPAGE which will be displayed at the bottom of the post.If your post is adversarial in nature or links to a site that is not a personal blog, there will be a $100 fee payable by PayPal in advance, as I consider this to be a sponsored post. Once payment has been received I will publish your post. Please note: I am obliged by the FTC to disclose that I have been compensated for sponsored posts.
How do I submit my guest post?
You don’t – I no longer accept them.
All the best in health and fitness,
Janice
