Motivation Uh… Tuesday? My October Goals

Hey everyone! How are you? Can you smell Fall in the air? I took this picture today while out with the kids at the park after dinner:

I can’t believe that we’re will into Fall already! We now only have three more months to accomplish the goals we set in January… So how are those goals going? Unfortunately my goals were reached by June and l haven’t set any new or replacement ones…. Staying motivated since then has been admittedly really hard.Which likely means it’s time for me to set some new ones… Hello October!

(I’m scaling these back to get me back into routine and back to the basics).

  • Cardio-3 times /week
  • Strength-2 times /week
  • WATER -yes, worthy of caps… Drink three 500 ml. Bottles of water every day.
  • Fruits and Veggies -7-8 servings per day
  • Sleep- in bed by 10:30

I hate to admit this, but I’ve REALLY have fallen off the wagon, so hopefully these goals will help…

Question / Sharing:

This month I am also getting back to basics. Eating clean w/ 1 treat meal per week, continuing my running after the half marathon this weekend, studying for my PT certification, and being better about WATER and SLEEP.

I mostly just want to plan on eating Fall foods. I didn’t eat nearly enough last year except for apples. Because trust me, I ate a looooot of apples! lol

Most people think that September is the month where all the good routines start. That might be true for lots of children, but for their parents, its usually October. By the time they get everything settled and can finally start to look after themselves again, its already the fall and they’re behind in their goals/changes in their life. That being said, it still leaves you with a solid 2-3 months until xmas, so theres lots of good that can be done by then, just keep focused and motivated, and picture where you want to be starting the new year. As for me, i’m aiming to work on my flexibility, keeping balance in my workouts, and actually try to gain a pound a week. 🙂 Thanks and good luck.
