The Post In Which I Sadly Announce That I Can’t go to Fitbloggin’

Last week I wrote begged for someone to sponsor me to go to Fitbloggin’. Of course this was a last ditch effort after I enthusiastically pitched some companies.

Sadly, I had to email Roni yesterday and turn down my live-bloggin’ opportunity.

I can’t go.

This makes me very sad, but I know that I’m doing the right thing. Because instead of going, I’m giving my girls the gift of body awareness, self-confidence, positive body image, goal-setting skills etc.

How’s that?

I’m sending them to gymnastics camp and have registered them for summer soccer instead.

Kids need sports – to be active, to run, to jump, to learn to win, even to learn to lose.

While I’ll miss you all at Fitbloggin, I think this is a much better use of my money – dont you agree?

I’m confused. Fitbloggin was in May – do you mean the Fitbloggin’ locals? At any rate I hope you get to do at least a local meetup! OR start one yourself!

Actually the original publish date on the post was March 3rd, so I meant Fitbloggin’11 – Old Post Promoter plugin went a little wild, oops!
