Where’s Your Favourite Place to Workout?

Happy Hump Day everyone!

(a word to the wise – do not google hump day in google images…)

Today is day 5 of the September Healthy Living / Fitness Blogger Writing Challenge and today’s topic is:

Share Pictures of Your Favourite Place to Workout

I’ve actually written about this recently, which means this *might* be a duplicate topic from last month, if it is, I’m really sorry about that. EDIT: It isn’t a duplicate topic – I wrote about it in July before in a post about where I run. Now that I think about it, where I run is also my favourite place to workout, so I hope you don’t mind me recycling my images 🙂

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to run at a park right beside my work called Chinguacousy Park (pronounced CHING-a-COO-sy). It’s beautiful ALL year round (yes, even the winter) and it’s so close to my work, which is a bonus. I also workout at a fitness club called GoodLife Fitness, but while it’s a nice welcoming club to workout in, it’s not my favourite place as I’d much rather be outside enjoying the fresh air – the gym is like a necessary evil. So without further adieu, I present to you my favourite place to workout/run:

Chinguacousy Park – Brampton, ON

Well one of my favorite would be an open highway. Just running to my full extent while listening to exhilarating music and enjoying some views. By the way I’m having problem with my shoes. What type of shoes would you recommend?

I’m an outdoor runner and I love it. Even on -10C days. There’s nothing like smelling the air and seeing rabbits hop around while making my way around the neighbourhood.

Nice! I think I would be too distracted with all of the green and colors to focus on a run. We don’t have much of either here at 7,000 feet 😉

Here is a bit on my first day of triathlon and where I workout around the area. Not quite as pretty, but not to shabby.

Besides my backyard I would have to go with any track/football field near me. Usually pretty empty and great backdrop. I just bring a few pieces of equipment and it does the trick. A nice change from the usual gym atmosphere.
