GOODLIFE FITNESS - GoodLife Fitness Toronto Pearson Club Opens

Up until a few years ago, I made HUNDREDS of resolutions every New Year’s.

Resolution

The act of finding an answer or solution to a conflict, problem, etc. : the act of resolving something. (source)

Goal

The object of a person’s ambition or effort; an aim or desired result. (source)

I didn ‘t make a New Year’s Resolution last year or this year. As I mentioned last week, just because I didn ‘t make an exhaustive list of resolutions doesn’t mean I don’t have goals.

Of course I do.

Of course YOU do.

We all have goals. Just like me you want to find your better. For me, my better is qualifying for the Boston Marathon. My goal isn’t about fad diets or esthetics, it’s about bettering myself, and is meant to help me live by my own mantra: Ã…”Live Active, Eat Healthy & Enjoy life!

I want this so bad that I can taste it!!

Unlike resolutions, the nice thing about goals is that there is a simple process to follow in order for them to happen:

Step 1: Write down your goal.
Think long and hard – what do you want to accomplish? Once you know what you want to achieve, write it down. This simple approach is unbelievably powerful. Studies have been done that prove you are 50 percent more likely to achieve a goal that you write down, and 75 percent more likely if you share the commitment in writing with a friend. It sounds simple, but seeing your goal in writing daily helps you focus on the objective even when your mind is occupied elsewhere.

Step 2: Research your goal.
Few things worth accomplishing come easily. The greatest sense of accomplishment comes from surpassing goals that challenge the mind, body and spirit. If your goal is audacious, you will require information beyond what’s currently in your brain. Research what you can about the process and the environment impacting the goal. Give yourself every chance of hitting your goal by surfacing every potential obstacle in your way and exploring every possible solution. This helps prepare you for step 3.

Step 3: Create a plan.
Focus and discipline are key to any big accomplishment. Doing something extraordinary requires changes in patterns and behaviors. In my case, I need to make new time in my schedule to follow a training plan and to train regularly. It won’t be easy, but I am committed enough to the goal to make the extra effort instead of just hoping I will magically be ready.

I know I can reach my goals with hard work, and that you can too!  Afterall, January is all about NEW changes, challenges, and a new YOU!

I am at home with 2 kids so its hard to get exercise into my daily routine. My goal in 2014 is to make time for it and get to the gym at least once a week and on the other days do some exercises at home while the kids are napping. Good Life could help me get the to gym once a week and show me some exercises to do at home in between.

Whatever kind of sports you are doing, it is crucial to provide your body with nutritional support. Especially after hard trainings. I’ve read thousands times that we don’t get enough nutrients from our everyday meals. That is why, supplementation is necessary. You just have to find a high quality product. I’ve searched through internet, studied articles and reviews, and finally found the product for myself – Military Grade supplements. My basic criteria was natural compounds. Then, I liked the reviews, which were mostly positive, highlighting the visible effect of the product. So, I’ve tried them myself. Started with 1 bottle of their new post-workout product – Second Wind – and was surprised greatly! Almost no fatigue after my workouts, no muscle soreness and lots of energy throughout a day! This product is definitely worth trying.
