As many of you know, I’ve been struggling with my fitness/healthy eating motivation for about a month. After the duathlon in early September I fell off the wagon. Yes – even I stumble. More than I care to admit – this blog is as much for motivating me as it is for you.
Thankfully this week I finally found my mojo – it came in a sweet “little” package from my favourite sporting goods store: SportChek. Check out what they sent me:

New SHOES folks! Remember these old runners that I’ve been complaining about?
Well I checked my Nike+ stats and apparently they have about 1200km’s on them. I was starting to get injured from wearing them – now I know why! I was so thankful to see new shoes in my box of goodies from SportChek – with these new bad boys I can really find #mybetter. THANK YOU SO MUCH SPORTCHEK!!! I’m defintiely going to be doing a triathlon next summer ’cause my latest side gig is volunteering with the Ontario Women’s Triathlon to help them with their social media promotion, so all of this stuff will help me with me training.
In fact it already has. This week I’ve run twice already (and I’ll be running again this morning), and went to a spinning class.
I also used the gift card to invest in this Bob Harper Kettlebell and Kettlebell DVD:
I did that workout once and greatly enjoyed it, though my legs and core were not happy with me the next day 🙂 All in all this week I’ve been back on the wagon and man – it feels great!!
