This Week’s Training Recap #MotivateMe Monday


Happy Monday everyone!

How was your weekend? Here the weather was amazing! This week was another busy week of work, hockey, softball, boot camp, running etc… Whew!

This week’s recovery/training

Monday – Boot camp class – so hard!!

Tuesday – my heel (plantar fasciitis) was bothering me so I skipped my run at lunch.  After work Brooke had a hockey game so I watched it with Amber.

Wednesday – 6.56k morning tempo run with Amy to make up for the run I missed on Tuesday.  At lunch I went to boot camp class – this class focused mostly on posterior chain strength.

Thursday – Beautiful day for a run so I ran 7.8k at lunch at an easy pace.

Friday – 5.51k run before work.  4×500 meter repeats.

Saturday – ran 10.52k while Brooke was at hockey practice.

Sunday – rest day.

I met my goal of running 4 times and going to 2 boot camp classes!


This week’s fitness plan:

Monday: 6k morning run + lunch bootcamp class
Tuesday: Core workout
Wednesday: 6k morning run + bootcamp class
Thursday: 7k lunch run
Friday: 7k morning run
Saturday: 12k run
Sunday: Core workout

Ideally I’d like to run 4 times, and do 2 boot camp classes.
