This is my Mamavation post for Monday, February 14, 2011.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

How was your week last week? Did you drink your water? Get your beauty sleep? And eat your 7-8 servings of fruits and veggies? (Remember: fruit and veggies are chock full of fiber!).

Last week I wasn’t “feeling it”.  I couldn’t get my game on.  I worked out 4 times (mommy/baby bootcamp x2, Nike Training Club Ab workout, Nike Training Club “Tower of Power” workout), I ate healthy, and I got enough sleep.  But I just wasnt feeling positive and cheerful so I kind of disappeared from Twitter, and blogging and everything else.  I posted a vlog last week but didn’t link it up because I didn’t have the time to comment on everyone’s posts, so I felt it wasn’t fair to link up.  I’m sorry for leaving y’all in a lurch.

Perhaps it was post-vacation fatigue?  Oh speaking of which, my vacation!  I can’t believe that I haven’t really told you much about that yet!

I tagged along on my husband’s business trip to Hawaii from January 27th – February 5th.  I took Amber with me and my older daughters spent a week bonding with Grandma. It was wonderful!! I walked ALOT (strollers aren’t allowed on buses or trolley’s there) and I had my butt-kicked by Michelle from Stroller Strides Honolulu, not once but TWICE while I was away:

As I said, the vacation was a blast – I walked the 6k to and from Waikiki Beach FOUR times that week, walked around Honolulu Zoo (also in Waikiki, so I had to walk there), walked around the shopping mall and went to Stroller Strides twice.  We also rented a car and drove around the whole Island of Oahu.  The highlight of the trip for me was seeing real live whales playing in the ocean!  I love whales and dolphins!

This week I’m going to really BRING IT!!  I’ve figured out a new blogging and workout schedule that will work for me and not interfere with family life. I’m excited about it and can’t wait to cheer you on!

    First off I have to say we did miss you! I still would love to see your vlog 🙂
    I love the pics with the moves incorporated in them. Cool moves to use on vacation or anytime.
    Sounds like a great vacation. I have yet to go to Hawaii, but maybe someday. Hope you feel it this week.

    I adore Stroller Strides (I think I mentioned that in a previous comment). Anywho…

    Just goes to show the average person that you CAN exercise while on vacation. And you are definitely above average, Janice!
