Hey everyone! Boy do I have a great giveaway for you!

It all started this summer when I woke up to a challenge tweet from the very sexy Brett Lawrie:

Then, a few months ago I was asked (as were many other Canadian fitness bloggers) to take part in SportChek’s Ã…”Your Better Starts Here  campaign, to which I replied with a YES!!! Definitely! They then wanted to know what I needed to find #mybetter, so they sent out a list of questions asking about our fitness journeys. While the questions themselves were of a general nature, the answers they received were specific to each person they asked to participate.

SportChek  then sent me a customized inspiration kit to help me find #mybetter:


What better motivation is there than these beauties – a pair of new running shoes,  a spinning jersey, new cycling shorts and a funny triathlon book:to help me train for the Ontario Women’s Triathlon  (which you may remember that I did in early September)!


I’ve been greatly enjoying my inspiration kit and according to Nike+, I’ve already put on over 100km on the shoes and I’ve greatly enjoyed spinning in my new jersey – I look like a REAL cyclist now!

    I plan on continuing to run at least 1 mile everyday and to practice more yoga to find the better me!

    I am hoping to find my better in 2013 by giving up (or atleast moderating – and extremely limiting my sugar intake)… perhaps adopting a more paleo lifestyle. :shrug: Cheers to a healthier me~ 🙂

    I am aiming to run some organized races in my area. Nothing too big, but want some 5-10Ks under my belt and maybe even a sprint tri in my town.

    I will be finding my better in 2013 by running several Half Marathons! I will also be running a special one for my 30th birthday in April!
