My Favorite Fall Workouts

Hey guys, since it’s almost the official first day of Fall, I thought that I’d share some of my favorite fall workouts. In my opinion, there really is no better time of the year to workout outside than the fall, so because of this I actually have three activities to share:

My Favorite Fall Workouts

  1. Running– while I love running in almost any season, fall running has got to be one of my favorites… especially trail running! I love the smell in the air, the crunch of the leaves under my feet, not to mention the beautiful colours!
  2. Nike Training Club – The Nike Training Club is an iPhone app that leads you through a pretty vigorous, low equipment workout.  You can choose workouts that focus on strength, and others that focus on cardio. I love doing these workouts at the park while supervising the kiddos. Here’s a video I took several years ago of my little Brookie showing you how I workout at the park with my iPhone and the Nike Training Club app:
  3. Outdoor Bootcamp– very similar to the Nike Training Club but done as a group. Here’s a great workout that can be done with a few of your co-workers at lunch in a nearby park:

    Love all of these workouts. The Nike Training Club workout is really great – some of the workouts are harder than I expected! I love running in the fall.
